Easy Pizza for busy moms!


  • 2 1/4 tsp yeast
  • 1 teaspoon white sugar
  • 1 cup warm water (110 degrees F/45 degrees C)
  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  1. Preheat oven to 450
  2. In a medium bowl, dissolve yeast and sugar in warm water. Let stand until creamy, about 10 minutes.
  3. Stir in flour, salt and oil. Beat until smooth. Let rest for 5 minutes.
  4. Turn dough out onto a lightly floured surface and pat or roll into a round. Transfer crust to a lightly greased pizza pan or baker's peel dusted with cornmeal. 
  5. Top with desired toppings 
  6. Bake in oven for 15 to 20 minutes, or until golden brown.
  7.  Let baked pizza cool for 5 minutes before serving.

Mandy's toppings
1 lb hamburger browned in sauce pan with minced garlic and diced onion..when cookied, drain any grease and add 1 can of diced tomatoes, drained and 1 can of tomato paste.  Cook over medium heat until thickened (about 10 minutes)  Spread on pizza crust and sprinkle with cheese...follow directions from #3
